BIOSOLIDS TRANSPORT

We have a number of prime movers and semi tippers available for transport of sludge and biosolids. The tailgate and tipping body of tipping trucks are watertight and fitted with pneumatic locks, restraint locks (also known as 'grain locks') and juice locks. This eliminates the risk of tailgate failure during transport on public roads.

All tippers are fitted with rubber seals to prevent tailgate leakage and the body is covered with waterproof, retractable tarps.

Our drivers are specifically trained on the risks of transporting biosolids, as well as emergency spill procedures. Each truck contains a spill kit specifically made for transporting biosolids. We believe the seriousness of a biosolids spills in terms of the environment, safety and public relations is often overlooked. For us every single project, whether big or small, the risks are taken seriously.

Please see Prime Movers and Semi Tippers for truck specifications, such maximum load weights.

EPA Registered Trucks

Many of our trucks are Victorian EPA registered to transport Prescribed Industrial Waste (PIW), which includes Category A, B and C contaminated soil. Drivers have up to date training by the Victorian Waste Management Association (VWMA) as required by the EPA. We also have trucks registered with the South Australian EPA and can easily gain registration for other states as required.
